American Classical coin silver sugar tongs, ca 1850. U-form with clawed and scaly talon jaws. A predatory motif for a lady’s tea party. Marked with unidentified Philadelphia maker’s stamp (Lion-Bust-G) on interior of each side as well as retailer’s stamp (D & Co.) of unknown location. Condition: Taut and springy.

S-scroll handle with ribbed thumb rest and heart terminal. Hinged and domed cover with bud finial. Curved spout with ogee opening. Bold and spare by a historic regional maker. Maker’s stamp. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 1302/108, volume (4 1/2 pts), and Reed & Barton date symbol. Dominick & Haff was consolidated with Reed & Barton in 1928. Very good condition.

Edwardian Georgian sterling silver monteith bowl. Made by William Hutton & Sons, Ltd in London in 1906. Round and curved on raised and stepped foot. Molded curvilinear rim with interspersed with leaves and applied pendant flowers. Vertical strapwork bands with laurel-wreathed oval frames (vacant) in leafing scroll surround applied to same-shaped stippled ground. Fully marked. Very good condition.
