Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass water pitcher. Made by Alvin in Providence. Ovoid body with faceted neck, helmet mouth, and high-looping silver handle. Dense overlay in form of rose blooms and buds, leafing branches, and scrollwork. Round scrolled cartouche (vacant). Glass is red with clear neck front and sides. Silver marked including maker’s stamp and no. R337. Very good condition.

Large turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass water pitcher with engraved silver overlay. Faceted glass body with asymmetrical and castellated helmet mouth. Silver overlay in form of trellis arcade inset with loose and fluid irises. Scroll handle in silver collar as is foot ring. Glass is clear. Handle marked “Sterling” with La Pierre maker’s stamp. Very good condition. Straw mark on bottom.

Art Nouveau Craftsman glazed silver overlay pitcher. Made by Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati in 1894. Conical body with crimped trefoil mouth and scroll handle. Fruiting grapevine with overlapping leaves in the greenery-yallery palette and blue bunches. Overlay engraved and gilt with dense leafing scrollwork and asymmetrical cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Mouth and handle in silver gilt collars.

Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau glass claret jug with silver overlay. Cylindrical with spread base, c-scroll handle, and small lip spout. Star cut to underside. Overlay in form of scrolls and diaper. Shaped tubular cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Glass is red except handle which is clear. Very good condition.
