Chrysanthemum sterling silver serving dish. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Ovalish well, curved sides with lobing and applied leaf border, and scalloped rim with the famous chrysanthemum flower heads alternating with leaves. A profusion of blossoms bunched at ends and wrapped around bracket handles. Reeded oval foot ring with chased leaves.

A very nice piece in the celebrated pattern, a New World interpretation of a Japanese motif, that was first produced in 1880.

Corinthian sterling silver ice tongs. Made by Roger Williams in Providence. U-form with pierced jaws. Terminals have fluid shell and leaf ornament. Roger Williams was active in the early 1900s. It merged with Mauser in 1903 to form the Mt Vernon Company, which continued to produce this pattern. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Marshall Field & Co.) stamps. Excellent condition. Taut and springy.
