Turn-of-the-century sterling silver tea set. Made by Shiebler in New York. This set comprises 6 pieces: Hot water kettle on stand, coffeepot, teapot, creamer, sugar, and waste bowl.

Globular and oval bodies. Covers domed (kettle and pot covers hinged). Handles c-scroll except kettle handle, which is shaped trefoil. Clover sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round with tapering sides, and pierced and turned-down rim with irregularly bunched blossoms. A nice piece in this Gilded Age high-low pattern that combines wild flowers and precious metal. Fully marked including pattern no. 13780 (first produced in 1898) and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

Stylish sterling silver figural salt and pepper shakers. Two flowers (one gilt) set in stand. Each flower has a curvilinear stem, round bud with threaded double-leaf cover (bottom leaf pierced). Stand has two holders in form of wrapped leaves rooted in tooled soil. Marked “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and post-1967 Italian mark for Ilario Pradella. Very good condition.
