Victorian sterling silver and glass figural monkey decanter. Made by Richard Hodd & Son in London in 1893. Glass body with hands resting on haunches. Tail-form handle. Tensile hind paws in sterling silver as is shaggy-furred shoulder mount with hinged and chained head. Buckled collar with German script and name Lulu. A sympathetic companion with intense glass eyes and big alert ears. Body amber and handle clear. Gilt interior. Fully marked. Excellent condition.
