Victorian sterling silver epergne candelabrum. Made by Barnard & Sons in London in 1849.

Shaped shaft with flange and stepped triangular base terminating in 3 scrolled supports. Raised and large central glass basket in support surrounded on 3 leaf-capped and entwined scroll branches, each terminating in bellied leaf-capped socket. Sockets support small glass baskets. Dense pierced and scrolled leaf ornament. Midcentury ornateness that shimmers by candlelight.

Georgian-style sterling silver coffeepot. Faceted and upward tapering sides. S-scroll spout same as is domed and hinged cover same with stained-wood ball finial. Capped s-scroll handle in stained wood. Molded base rim. Full marked including maker’s (Schroth) stamp and phrase “Hand Made”. Schroth was a New Jersey maker and retailer established in 1965. Very good condition.

Acid-etched nursery rhyme scenes peopled with stubby-legged, button-eyed tykes. On front pre-fall Jack and Jill share the labor of carrying the pail of water. On back Goosey, Goosey, Gander is represented by a stick-baiting little boy and upright bird. Room for engraving. Fully marked and numbered 304. Very good condition with strong definition.

Rare Art Nouveau sterling silver inkstand. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Fluted columnar drum with raised and hinged cover. Cover top has large bud finial with 4 beaded and scrolled mounts set in pebble-beaded border. Mounted to oval tray with end handles comprising scallop shell with beaded scroll tail between volute scrolls, and grape bunch mounts. An exuberant and showy design with a mélange of key motifs.
