Pretty and traditional English Georgian sterling silver cartouche tray, 1957. Four curved sides with curvilinear corners. Rim molded. Well has engraved ornament including heart frames (vacant) and pendant flowers. Well center vacant. Fully marked including Sheffield assay stamp and maker’s initials IL. On underside: “Lewis, Rose & Co. Ltd / Sterling Silver / Hand Engraved / 944 / Made in / Sheffield / England”. Excellent condition with strong definition.
