Twelve sterling silver mint juleps. Made by Scearce in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Each: Straight and tapering sides, and beaded and molded rim and foot. A great Nixon-era set comprising 8 cups from the Silent Majority first term and 4 from the embattled and curtailed second term. Evocative of social and political tensions from half a century ago. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and presidential initials RMN. Second-term cups have Roman numeral "II". Very good condition.

Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 351, and phrase “Antique Reproduction / Originals of this Cup Were Made / About 1820 by C. Guiteau / for the Fairfax Family / of Virginia”. Very good condition.
