Cover domed with ornamental finial. Twisted and alternating flutes and gadroons on bowl and cover. Fully marked including year. Very good condition.

Georgian Neoclassical sterling silver covered urn. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1913. Baluster body with leaf-capped double-scroll side handles and domed foot; cover domed with large conical bud finial and egg-and-dart rim. Twisted and alternating flutes and gadroons on bowl; foot and cover have same. Engraved floral garlands; on bowl front is scrolled cartouche (vacant). Pretty and old fashioned with nice heft.
