Large sterling silver vase in Clover pattern. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Conical body on raised foot. On exterior chased and engraved leafing branches with buds in relief. Rim irregular and pierced with pell-mell blossoms. A classic high-low design that depicts a common wildflower in precious metal. Foot plain. Fully marked including pattern no. 15938 (first produced in 1903) and director’s letter C (1902-7). Fine condition.

Large coin silver water pitcher. Made by John L. Westervelt in New York City, ca 1850. Baluster with helmet mouth, leaf-capped s-scroll handle, and stepped foot. Chased and engraved ornament. Large strapwork cartouche (vacant), bands of stylized ornament, and loose and scattered flowers and scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s initials and retailer’s stamp for Wendell & Feltman in Albany. Very good condition with nice patina.

Fancy American sterling silver knife rack, ca 1920. Oval ring mounted to stepped oval foot. Ring top has wide openings for the blades and correspondingly small ones at bottom for the tips. A practical piece with lots of scrolls and flowers. Marked “Ambassador Sterling”. Very good condition.

Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Stephen Henry Deakin & John Horace Francis in Birmingham in 1900. Shaped rectangular window in shaped surround with bracket feet. Chased asymmetrical ornament: Climbing and entwined flowers spilling over molded border, fluid scrolls, and scallop shells. Mounted to stained-wood back with hinged support. Glass beveled. Japanese silver flask, ca 1900. Dense allover relief ornament: Scaly serpentine dragon with gaping jaws and big talons emerges from foaming and heaving waves. Bottom wavy. Plain short neck with hinged and cork-lined cover. There is also an interior threaded cap. Dramatic and tactile. Signed with Japanese characters. Very good condition with deep patina.
