Art Deco sterling silver and enamel compact, ca 1920. Square and hinged with lobed corners. On cover a black wiggly, wiry terrier quivering with love is cutout and applied to a solid lilac purple ground. Back and sides have engine-turned wave ornament. Interior has round compartment covered by rotating disc with 3 pierced triangles and an open one. Cover interior lined with beveled mirror. No mark visible. Very good condition.
