Lucerne sterling silver ice tongs. Made by R. Wallace & Sons in Wallingford, ca 1910. U-form with open and scrolled jaws. Terminals have dense scrollwork with large oval frame between two small ones. All frames vacant. A pretty piece in this late Victorian pattern. Fully marked. Excellent condition with deep patina. Taut and springy.

Victorian sterling silver tobacco jar. Made by William Gibson & John Langman in London in 1898. Drum-form with straight sides and spread base. Cover flat and inset with carved wood pipe finial. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp (“Goldsmiths Company / 112 Regent Street”) on underside. Excellent condition.

German 800 silver and glass decanter, ca 1910. Flat and round bowl with cylindrical neck. Double-sided acid-etched landscapes with picturesque windmills, bridges, and houses. At bottom 800 silver mount with pierced and chased scrollwork, as well as musicians and colonnade. Silver neck collar. Silver ball stopper with figural finial in form of water carrier; clear glass plug. Marks possibly for Wolf & Knell in Hanau. Good condition with deep patina. Plug sanded down on one side.

German 800 silver and glass vase, ca 1910. Tapering trumpet-form in clear glass with acid-etched wreaths, scrolls, and flowers. At top pierced and chased 800 silver mount with cherubs, flowers, and scrolls. Detachable 800 silver base with spread foot with scrolled cartouches (vacant). Same ornament. Silver fully marked including Hanau maker’s stamp for Storck & Sinsheimer. Very good condition with deep patina.

English Georgian Neoclassical sterling silver chamberstick, 1791. Central ovoid socket on raised foot mounted to raised center of round and molded saucer. Conical snuffer with vasiform finial and bracket mount set in capped c-scroll handle. Fully marked including London assay stamp and maker’s initials IT (possibly John Troby). Very good condition.

Mount sits a little loose in socket.

Early sterling silver coffee and tea set. Made by John C. Moore for Tiffany & Co. in New York in 1850s. This set comprises 5 pieces: coffeepot, teapot, creamer, sugar, and waste bowl. Chased and engraved grape bunches and leaves as well as vine handles, spouts, finials, and rims. The relief ornament and large forms are representative of Tiffany’s midcentury wares. Three-letter monogram (EAB) engraved on each piece.
