Beautiful Art Nouveau Martelé silver compote. Made by Gorham in Providence on August 16, 1917. Shallow bowl with alternating big and small lobes; shoulder same with leaves and flowers overlapping and entwined in strapwork frames. Rim irregular and wavy. Baluster shaft on raised and same foot. Fully marked including pattern no. IDF. Excellent condition.

Striking turn-of-the-century glass vase by historic Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Ovoid with short and inset neck. Jugendstil-style overlay in controlled geometric pattern with circles and ovals as well as stylized leaves. Glass is iridescent green heightened with white on orange ground. Interior is orange.
