Turn-of-the-century sterling silver pillbox. Made by Unger Bros in Newark. Cylindrical with dense repousse scrolls and flower heads. Top and bottom have central scrolled cartouches (vacant). Gilt-washed interior. Fully marked. Very good condition with deep patina.

Reeded sterling silver shoulder and ivorine (that is, plastic) handles. In stained-wood case with silk lining and fitted velvet.

Mount sits a little loose in socket.

Early sterling silver coffee and tea set. Made by John C. Moore for Tiffany & Co. in New York in 1850s. This set comprises 5 pieces: coffeepot, teapot, creamer, sugar, and waste bowl. Chased and engraved grape bunches and leaves as well as vine handles, spouts, finials, and rims. The relief ornament and large forms are representative of Tiffany’s midcentury wares. Three-letter monogram (EAB) engraved on each piece.
