Pair of Edwardian Georgian sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1906-7. Each: Bellied socket with stepped and detachable bobeche; knopped shaft and stepped foot. Faceted form works well on Modern table settings, too. Fully marked and numbered A5560. One has date symbol for 1906; the other for 1907. Very good condition.

Oval well engraved with bold Regency ornament: Ribbon-tied oval frames joined by garlands in Vitruvian scroll border. Sides plain with gallery piercing and reeded rim. Cutout kidney end handles. Rests on four tapering and scrolled supports. Fully marked. Fine condition.

A traditional postwar piece with good heft. Full marks as well as stamp for Cheltenham & Co. Ltd, a Sheffield company that was a division of the National Silver Company in New York. Very good condition.

Chased ornament in form of medallions inset with children’s heads punching through broken eggshell. Japonesque applied sterling silver inkwell. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Drum form with curved shoulder, and hinged, threaded, and cork-lined cover. A pair of leaves and trio of bugs creeping and crawling allover hand-hammered ground. Interior glass lined.

Marked “Sterling” with maker’s stamp, pattern no. 7118, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Fine condition with deep patina.
