Edward VIII sterling silver vase. Made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield in 1936. Narrow and tapering body with base knop on gently raised and round foot. Spool neck and hemispheric rim with pierced scallop shells and scrollwork. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Irish Georgian sterling silver salver. Made by John Letablere in Dublin, mid-18th century. Gadrooned rim interspersed with shells and flower heads. Well center has engraved armorial with sword-bearing hand surrounded by flowers, leaves, and diaper-inset scrolls. Four leaf-capped volute-scroll supports. Marked. Very good condition.

Rare Japonesque mixed metal tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1878. Square with curved sides and straight edges. Two birds soar and glide. One is viewed from below and the other from above (that is, from bird’s eye). An original and jokey design incorporating the exotic flattened Japanese perspective. With glass, silk lining, and laminate back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) display. Fully marked including maker’s (Hickok Matthews) and retailer’s stamps, phrase “Hand Made”, and no. 3008. Hickok Matthews is better known by the original name Lebkuecher.
