Aesthetic sterling silver vase, ca 1900. Tall and slender leaf-wrapped shooting stem shaft and chrysanthemum-form mouth with dense and tight petals. There’s room for one very rarified flower, or the vase can be appreciated all on its own as a tribute to the enduring Japonesque vogue. Domed foot has engraved interlaced script monogram. Fully marked with Gorham and Redlich stamps. Numbered 7384. Fine condition with deep patina.

Each support radiates 3 incised vertical lines. An early piece in this pattern, which was first produced in 1947. Hallmark includes pattern (no. 23238) and director’s letter M (1947-56). Very good condition.

Danish Modern sterling silver cocktail shaker. Ovoid with wide and reeded c-scroll handle and fat and tapering stubby spout with chained cork-mounted stopper. Applied wavy band at rim. Short neck and cover leaf-and-berry finial. Incised vertical lines on cover sides and foot. A wonderful Midcentury design that reflects the Jensen influence.
