Big and beautiful sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Jenkins & Jenkins, Inc. (previously Jacobi & Jenkins) in Baltimore. Globular with leaf-capped s-scroll handle and wide round mouth with lip spout. Scattered and overlapping flowers in repousse on stippled ground. Presentation dated 1909 engraved on underside. Fully marked with maker’s stamp (1908-ca 1915) and no. 284. Fine condition with beautiful period patina.

Marble base with guilloche enamel pilasters and applied imbricated gilt filigree leaves, and raised foot with inset cabochon stones on enameled ground.
