Edwardian Thread & Shell sterling silver sardine set. Made by John Round & Son in Sheffield in 1904. This set comprises a fork with 5 wide tines and server with curved bell-form blade. King-shaped handles. In leather-bound case with silk lining and fitted velvet. Fully marked. Very good condition. Some wear to case.

Corinthian sterling silver ice tongs. Made by Roger Williams in Providence. U-form with pierced jaws. Terminals have fluid shell and leaf ornament. Roger Williams was active in the early 1900s. It merged with Mauser in 1903 to form the Mt Vernon Company, which continued to produce this pattern. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Marshall Field & Co.) stamps. Excellent condition. Taut and springy.
