Edwardian Regency sterling silver Adam bowl on stand. Made by Shreve & Co. in San Francisco, ca 1910. Each piece has a deep well and wide shoulder with Classical vases overlapping rondels joined by leaf swags on pierced fern ground. Ogee scroll rim. A beautiful centerpiece in the historic pattern. Small ornamental monogram engraved on bowl underside. Both parts fully marked including no. 3536 (stand). Very good condition.

George III sterling silver basket. Made by Paul Storr in London in 1812. Rectangular bowl with curved corners. Well plain. Sides have vertical ribbing and gadrooned rim with leaf-mounted shells at corners. Swing handle with leaves and imbricated circles, and central oval laurel wreath engraved with interlaced monogram. Raised and plain rectangular foot with curved corners. Fashionable Neoclassicism by the Regency great. Fully marked. Very good.

Large sterling silver flask. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Arched top with hinged and cork-lined cap. Acid-etched ornament. At bottom oak branches and fleurs de lys with reeded curvilinear border.

On front a pair of nude wrestlers heave and grapple. A fine exhibition of male brawn, probably inspired by Classical sculpture, such as the celebrated Roman marble group on view at the Uffizi in Florence. On back a scrolled, interlaced, and flower-strewn monogram.
