Support comprises tendril terminating in bead and mounted to leaf alternating with notched tendril. An abstract interpretation of the Jensen nature motif. Bowl and foot have visible hand hammering. Postwar hallmark includes designer mark for Johan Rohde and number 6. Fine condition and patina.

Sterling silver mount and hinged cover have dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Slightly anthropomorphic – suggestive of a bird’s head, including the beak-like spout.
