Gilded Age sterling silver blackberry bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round well; sides tapering with chased outsized leaf border. Scrolled and open turned down rim with applied c-scrolls, leaves, berries, and diaper. A great high-low design with wild fruit wrought in precious metal. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 14619 (first produced in 1900), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition.

A wonderful way to relax and reflect on the founding years of the Republic. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 351, and phrase “Antique Reproduction / Originals of this Cup Were Made / About 1820 by C. Guiteau / for the Fairfax Family / of Virginia”.
