Each: Urn socket with flat detachable bobeche, short upward tapering support, and raised foot with “skirted” lobing that shimmers by candlelight. Beautiful design by a historic maker. Each: baluster shaft with 2 knops and dome foot. Urn socket with detachable bobeche. Cherubs frolic and dance with garlands and ribbons amidst scrolls, blossoms, and foliage. Winged cherub heads on scrolled and scalloped foot rim. Ornament chased and applied.

A tactile interpretation of French 18th-century style. Hallmark includes no. 5072. Very good definition and rich period patina.

Beautiful antique sterling silver and crystal wine decanter. Made by Walter and Charles Sissons in Sheffield in 1867. Cylindrical neck and squat and curved bottom. Acid etched trellis with fruiting grapevine. Silver collar, v-spout, hinged cover, and leaf-capped scroll handle. Raised strapwork and grape bunches. Expressive Bacchus head on spout. Hallmarked. Very good condition and definition.
