Silver spice box. Made by Johann Leonhard Eyssler in Nuremberg in early 18th century. Rectangular with chamfered corners and spread foot. Cover hinged and stepped. Gadrooning and chased strapwork. Interior partitioned. Fully hallmarked on underside. Good condition with excellent patina. Interior rusted.

Engine-turned wave patterns alternating with plain stripes. Scrolled cartouche engraved with script presentation. Hallmark includes indistinct maker’s mark (possibly EM). Very good condition.

Very nicely worked sugar box made in Europe in the late 19th century. The whole body with alternating fluted panels, plain and then decorated with roses. Figural rose finial. Cover on a hinge. Set on 4 figural rose feet. Very heavy at 19 troy ounces. 6 ½ inches by 4 ½ inches by 6 inches high. Full marked on bottom and inside edge of the cover. Excellent condition.
