Plique à jour enamel and gilt 830 silver bowl. Made by Marius Hammer in Norway, ca 1910. Oval bowl with curved sides. Circular well with cobalt guilloche enamel interior. Horse bust end handles. Bands of stylized plant and geometric ornament. Fine craftsmanship and rich colors. The form is influenced by the traditional Viking long ship. A beautiful piece by Hammer, who contributed to the revival of Norwegian art and history. Hallmarked. Fine condition.

White enamel with fine gilt Classical ornament. Raised white beading and leaf-and-scroll on gilt ground. Cups have c-scroll handles with split mounts. Creamer and sugar have split leaf-mounted s-scroll handles as well as scrolled supports with fleurs-de-lys mounts.
