Victorian Georgian sterling silver chafing dish in stand. Bowl has straight and tapering sides, gadrooned rim, and inset base. Cover domed with gadrooned shoulder and reeded ring handle in leaf-and-branch mount. Stand has straight and tapering fretworked sides with open leaf supports and leaf-mounted bracket handles. Pair of French Belle Epoque 950 silver covered serving dishes on stands. Each: Bowl has tapering sides, imbricated leaf rim, and open foliate scroll side handles. Detachable liner. Double domed cover with beading. Cast leaf-and-berry finial encircled by same. Stand shaped with circular well and imbricated leaf rim. Sumptuous turn-of-the century design by Risler & Carre, a Paris maker active ca 1897-1912. All parts marked except one stand, which is unmarked. Very good condition.
