Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau amber glass bottle decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by La Pierre in New York. Traditional cylindrical form with sloping shoulder and upward tapering neck. On front are big, scrolling thistles in asymmetrical arrangement with ribbon cartouche (vacant). Stopper tapering with flat top and cork plug. Stopper marked “Sterling” with maker’s stamp.
