Pair of Art Deco sterling silver pillar candlesticks. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1912. Each: Pillar on raised and square base with canted corners. Gently bombe socket and detachable square and canted bobeche. Ribbed bands on shaft. A spare modernization of Classical form. Hallmark includes pattern no. 18195 (first produced in 1912) and director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good condition. Dimensions: H 6 1/2 x W 3 5/8 x D 3 5/8 in. Weighted.

Rare and stylish sterling silver Calla Lily serving spoon. Bound wire shaft with sculptural terminal in flower form with stamen set in petals mounted to overlapping leaves. Shaped and shallow bowl with butler-finished interior and three-leaf mount. Beautiful all-around craftsmanship including engraving on verso of leaves. Marked “Sterling”. This pattern by Whiting, a New York maker that was acquired by Gorham in 1924. It is sometimes attributed to Gorham. Very good condition.
