Lovely Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark, ca 1910. Rectangular window and surround acid-etched with wraparound feathery leaf-and-berry motif threaded through crisscrossing scrolled bands. At top long shaped cartouche (vacant). With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including no. 3643. Excellent condition with strong definition and great patina.

Engraved stylized ornament. On ring interlaced scrollwork with pendant garlands and leaves. On vase side a band of pointy and lined leaves and single-letter monogram. On one is engraved in script “Mother”.
