Set of 6 Regency Neoclassical sterling silver goblets. Each: Ovoid bowl on cylindrical stem flowing into domed foot. Engraved ornament: wavy and zigzag rim bands and 2 bow-tied oval pendant frames (1 frame vacant; the other has armorial). Gilt-washed interior. Elegant and austere. London hallmarks. Three goblets were made by Ebenezer Coker in 1808. The other three were made in 1827, apparently by Wakelin & Taylor (mark indistinct). Very good condition.

Chinese export silver tea caddy, ca 1900. Baluster with drum-form neck and cover. Chased and repousse bamboo and blossoming prunus branches on stippled ground. Plain band at shoulder. Also plain are foot rim, neck, and cover sides. Cover top has circular frame (vacant). Fully marked with Chinese characters and letters HC for Hung Chong, who was active in Canton and Shanghai. Very good condition.

Art Deco sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1924. Wide mouth, steeply tapering sides, and stepped foot. Interior has acid-etched interlaced arcade inset with flowers and scalloped border. A semi-abstract design that draws on Victorian prototypes. Hallmark includes pattern no. 20448A (first produced in 1924) and director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good condition.

Pastoral coin silver christening mug. Faceted and upward tapering sides with capped scroll handle. Engraved ornament: Tubular multifoils of which some inset with landscapes and country cottages and others with diaper ornament. Two have engraved presentations dated 1846 and 1901. Hallmarked Ball, Tompkins & Black, a New York maker that was active 1839-51. The firm became Black, Starr & Frost in 1876. Good condition with rich patina.

Japonesque sterling silver and mixed metal bowl. Made by Whiting in New York, ca 1880. Bellied bowl on 3 trefoil-mounted balls. Engraved and acid-etched marine motifs, including plants and shells, heightened with applied mussel and snail. Applied mixed metal crab with gracefully scrolled legs curled over the rim. Engraved armorial.

A beautiful piece with plenty of period flavor by one of New York’s other mixed metal makers. Hallmark includes no. 904D. Excellent condition.

Art Deco 3-piece sterling silver baby set. Made by Kerr in Newark. This set comprises cup, bowl, and plate. Plate has well. Cup and bowl are gently curved and tapering with raised foot. Modern forms acid-etched with animal parade: Exotic leopards and elephants as well domestic fowl, goats, and kitties are conveyed on wheeled platforms (a bunny hitches a ride with the zebra). Gilded Age brilliant-cut glass claret jug with sterling silver collar. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Tall and upward tapering with c-scroll handle. Stars, diaper, flowers, and ferns set in interlaced scrolled frame. Collar has helmet mouth with applied garland and pilaster-style tendrils. Base reeded with applied leaves. A gorgeous piece whose clear color shows off the rich hue of the booze. Hallmark includes director’s letter C (1902-7). Very good condition.
