Figural apple sterling silver and glass jam jar with spoon. Made by Buccellati in Milan. Jar is Murano glass in globular with truncated top and cutout spoon rest. Exterior matte, nuanced, and granulated suggestive of fruit skin. Interior white. Cover domed and sterling silver with same skin-like texture and leafy stem. Spoon has twig shaft and leaf bowl. Cover and spoon fully marked with maker’s stamp and post-1967 hallmark. Excellent condition.

Shaped and shallow bowl with butler-finished interior and three-leaf mount. Beautiful all-around craftsmanship including engraving on verso of leaves. Marked “Sterling”. This pattern by Whiting, a New York maker that was acquired by Gorham in 1924. It is sometimes attributed to Gorham. Very good condition.
