George III sterling silver basket. Made by William Plummer in London in 1782. Oval bowl with swing c-scroll handle and oval foot. Beaded rims and handle, and pierced lines and oval frames inset with vases and flowers. Interior has engraved garland. Fashionable Neoclassical design. Hallmarked. Very good condition.
