Rare and exciting Chinese export silver epergne, ca 1900. Three conical vases mounted to knop on raised foot. Raised bamboo motif on stippled ground. Vases pierced with clear glass liners. A standout centerpiece by Wang Hing, who was active in Canton and Hong Kong. Hallmarked. Very good condition and patina. Liner chipping.

Bowl has tapering sides, turned-down rim, and 4 open triangular supports and 2 trefoil side handles inset with leaves. Domed cover has engraved stylized leaves and scrollwork. Hallmark includes maker’s initials WC. Condition: A nice piece of working silver in search of a good home. Repair in form of replaced center (D 6 1/4 in.). The seam is visible on front and back. Priced accordingly. Sold as is.
