Edwardian sterling silver vase. Made by Stieff in Baltimore in 1927. Conical with top and bottom knops; short neck and wavy mouth rim and domed foot. Dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Neck exterior has chased and stippled leaf-and-dart border. Beautiful and tactile by an important regional maker. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, no. 168, and height (“12 IN”). Very good condition.
