Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Globular bowl with foot ring, drum-form neck, lip spout, and c-scroll handle with engraved leaf-cap and bold scroll and leaf terminal. Repousse rinceaux band. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6462 (first produced in 1881), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

Victorian sterling silver ewer. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1897. Ovoid bowl with helmet mouth and base knop on raised foot mounted to square base on corner ball supports. Chased ornament in form of leafing scrollwork and flowers; two languid mermaids with serpentine tails frame scrolled cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. George V sterling silver covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Chrichton in London in 1916. Girdled urn with half strapwork on stepped domed foot; leaf-capped s-scroll sides handles. Cover double domed with vasiform finial and radiating strapwork. Strapwork chsed and engraved on stippled ground. A poignant tribute to the lasting popularity of Edwardian Neoclassicism in the dark days of World War I. Fully marked. Very good condition.
