Sterling silver basket with grape bunches. Made by Lebkuecher in Newark, ca. 1900. Sold and oval well. Sides are open lattice with flared mouth. Vine rim with grape bunches applied to interior. Reeded and tapering swing handle with central leaves. Hallmark includes no. 1878 and retailer’s name JE Caldwell & Co. Excellent condition.

Clear glass decanter with Modern Gothic silver overlay, ca. 1880. Faceted with upward tapering sides, knopped and cylindrical neck, and everted rim. Faceted teardrop stopper with short and frosted plug. Overlay with Gothic arches and scroll tracery. Neck and rim in silver collar as is stopper neck. A rare example of overlay in this style.

Ovoid crystal body on flat and scalloped foot. Acid-etched floral garlands. Cylindrical neck, scroll handle, and helmet mouth in silver: dense grape bunches and leaves and vine handle and rim. Grape bunch stopper with cork plug. Very fine silverwork. Hallmarked. Excellent condition.
