Victorian sterling silver match safe. Made in Birmingham in 1853. Rectangular with 2 compartments, each with hinged cover (one for matches and one with strike). Engine-turned wave patterns alternating with plain stripes. Scrolled cartouche engraved with script presentation. Hallmark includes indistinct maker’s mark (possibly EM). Very good condition.

Large sterling silver serving tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Shaped and ovoid with molded rim. Scrolls, flowers, and fish scales chased to well and sides. Central cartouche (vacant). Fancy but practical. The pattern (no. 15126A1) was first produced in 1901. Hallmark includes director’s letter m (1907-47). Excellent condition with nice patina.

Antique silver gilt and enamel compact with cats in a basket. Round with flat and hinged cover. On cover two kittens cuddle in beribboned basket. They have pink noses, whiskers, and lots of soft fur. They're real fluff balls. Color heightened by unusual black ground bordered by incised silver gilt ornament. Box sides white enamel between silver gilt borders. Cover interior has mirror. Unmarked – possibly Austrian. Excellent condition.
