George II sterling silver cruet stand. Made by Samuel Wood in London in 1752. Cinquefoil base with 4 double-scroll mounts supporting 7-ring frame (of which 2 for stoppers). Each mount terminates in scallop shell foot. Central knopped pole with baluster terminal and scrolled open finial. Mounted asymmetrical cartouche engraved with armorial. Hallmarked.

Elegant Edwardian sterling silver and crystal vase. Made by Durgin (later part of Gorham) in Concord, NH. Sterling silver base comprising pierced cylinder on urn mount terminating in upward tapering shaft on raised foot with reeded rim. Crystal vessel with wavy petal rim and bellied bowl terminating in cone encased in tapering cylinder. Pretty acid-etched flowers with cut stems and petals. Silver hallmark includes no. 55 and Chicago retailer’s stamp CD Peacock. Very good condition.

Engraved and repousse flowers and foliage. Script monogram. A fancy piece by Grosjean & Woodward, a New York supplier to Tiffany.
