Victorian sterling silver goblet. Made by Roberts & Belk, Ltd in Sheffield in 1872. Tapering bowl on tall cylindrical stem terminating in raised foot. Engraved frond arcade and engine-turned rim ornament. Gilt interior. Fresh and pretty with plenty of room for engraving. Hallmarked. Very good condition.

Each pepper: Baluster with pierced domed cover, gadrooning, and 3 dolphin supports and finial. Hallmarks include no. 55. Three have partial date codes for the first and second years of Herbert Hoover’s presidency. Very good condition and patina.
