Contemporary sterling silver plate and spoon. Retailed by Asprey in London. Plate: Round with well and wide shoulder. Applied figure of Humpty Dumpty merrily waving. He is seated on a brick wall (engraved). Spoon: Tapering handle with oval bowl. Leather-bound case with fitted red velvet and silk lining with retailer’s stamp. Both pieces made in 1985. The plate has Sheffield maker’s initials SC. The spoon has Asprey stamp. Very good condition.

Edwardian sterling silver baby cup with peekaboo kitty cat. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Drum form with molded base and bracket handle. Two heads with pointy ears and fat paws peep above a brick wall. Fine evocation of the intense and super-serious feline stare that does not yet appear to have noticed the lone mouse. Hallmark includes pattern no. 17093A (first produced in 1907) and director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good condition.
