Bowl has embossed border of imbricated leaves or chevrons, a bold motif popularly known as Wave Edge. Neck applied with same. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pre-1875 pattern no. 3077, and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

Rectilinear spout terminating in disc-form spout and capped scroll bracket handle in stained wood. Cover hinged and domed with gadrooned top and finial on waisted support. Perfect for genteel, clean-hands gardening. Marked “Sterling Italy / 925” with maker’s stamp (1944-68) for Franco De Giovanni in Milan. Very good condition.

Edwardian Classical gilt sterling silver glove box. Made by Ahrendt & Kautzman in Newark, ca 1910. Rectangular with straight sides and sharp corners. Cover hinged with tapering tab and gently curved top. Low-relief ornament in form of rectilinear frames with double borders and with leafing scrollwork on sides and cover top. Velvet-lined interior. With key. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Theodore B. Starr) stamps. Very good condition with nice toning.
