A pair of Antique American sterling silver candlesticks on claw feet. The body of the candlestick where it meets each of four applied, scroll embellished claw feet. And the removable bobeshes are trimmed with a gadroon motif border. Made by Bailey, Banks 7 Biddle, Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1890. Fully hallmarked, nice patina, excellent condition, 40 troy ounces, not weighted, height 11 1/2", diameter 6".

The oval straight sided body is pierced in a contiguous square pattern, set with a loop handle with square pierced pattern as well.
