Art Nouveau red glass claret jug with silver overlay, ca 1900. Cylindrical with small lip spout, spread base, and scroll handle. Dense silver scrolls and flowers as well asymmetrical cartouche with engraved monogram. Mouth and handle have silver collars. Ruby glass with very slightly pink tinge. Handle also has cut-out lunettes, lozenge, and triangle. Hallmarked Sterling Silver Deposit with no. 21. Very good with rich patina.
