Sterling silver centerpiece bowl with 8-light candelabra on plateau. Made by Bailey, Banks & Biddle in Philadelphia, ca. 1890. Bowl is squat and curved with turned-down rim. Short stem and shallow dome foot. Four pairs of detachable branches attach to foot. Each pair comprises c-scroll branches joined at base. Each branch terminates in single light: bulbous socket with detachable bobeche and short stem mounted to wax pan. Bowl rests on raised and spread plateau.
