Each: Solid well with fancy pierced border: Crosses in shaped frame alternating with flowers surmounted by paterae. Four armorial shields (vacant) and raised guilloche rim. Hallmark includes no. 1892/62, pattern name, and retailer’s name Spaulding & Co. Very good condition with deep patina.

Raised ornament in lobed frames: blossoming prunus branches, bamboo, and birds as well as farmers and shepherds in funny pointy hats—the panoply of exotic motifs—on stippled ground.
