Antique Portuguese silver serving tray, late 18th century. Plain and shaped oval well. Shoulder has chased leafy-scroll-and-shell band between Vitruvian scroll and molded borders. Same embossed on rim with large overlapping shells. Fashionable period motifs in an accomplished naïve style. Appears to be unmarked. Very good condition.
