Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Globular bowl with foot ring, drum-form neck, lip spout, and c-scroll handle with engraved leaf-cap and bold scroll and leaf terminal. Repousse rinceaux band. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6462 (first produced in 1881), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

Pair of English Victorian Neoclassical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by William Hutton & Sons in London in 1889. Each: Traditional column with stop-fluted shaft on stepped square foot. Composite Corinthian capital with concave sides and detachable bobeche. Beading. Fully marked. Very good condition. Some pings especially on foot rim, and split, also on foot.

Pair of striking midcentury Classical coin silver ewers. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1860. Each: Ovoid bowl with helmet mouth and raised foot. On neck applied frieze with ring of Bacchic boys gripping drapery swags; below applied bead-and-reel border. Gorgeous Titania glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay, ca 1900. Upward tapering sides with gently flared mouth. Sides concave and corners chamfered. Overlay in form of vertical leafing scrollwork mounted at corners and joined on sides by double arches. Glass is mottled and iridescent white shading to green with exposed patches of the solid cobalt blue interior. Very good condition.

Set of 8 Puritan sterling silver goblets. Made by Gorham in Providence. Each: Spare and elegant form with subtle bell-form bowl on cylindrical stem flowing into raised foot. George VI sterling silver tray. Made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd in Sheffield in 1946. Rectangular with molded rim and double-scroll corners; end bracket handles same. Traditional Georgian for the postwar era. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp (Peter Guille) and phrase “Made in England”. Very good condition.

Pretty Edwardian sterling silver basket with roses. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Circular well with flared sides and wide mouth. Sides have alternating solid and pierced trellis. Scrolled and wavy rim in form of flowering rose vine with both tight buds and full blooms. Stationary u-handle applied with graduated flower heads and split scroll mounts. Pair of pretty Austrian Biedermeier Classical silver candlesticks, 1863. Each: Tapering socket with turned-down rim and overhanging base mounted to knopped baluster shaft on domed and curvilinear foot with stippled flowers at corners. Fluting and lobing. Perfect for reading Goethe by candlelight. Marks include dated Viennese assay stamp indicating 13 loths (that is 812.5 silver) and maker’s initials IC. Very good condition.
