This is a gorgeous Edwardian Period English Sterling Silver George IV Style Salver made by the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company of London in 1903. The salver is of piecrust design with an applied scrolling acanthus leaf and floral border. The salver is fully hallmarked on the underside of the base. A pair of Antique American sterling silver candlesticks on claw feet. The body of the candlestick where it meets each of four applied, scroll embellished claw feet. And the removable bobeshes are trimmed with a gadroon motif border. Made by Bailey, Banks 7 Biddle, Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1890. Fully hallmarked, nice patina, excellent condition, 40 troy ounces, not weighted, height 11 1/2", diameter 6".
