Tall and unusual sterling silver vase. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Attenuated oval body with soft fluting on lobed and domed foot mounted to circular base with 4 foliate-shell supports. Neck and mouth conical with scalloped rim and applied pendant flowers. Dense tooled bands with scrolls and flowers at neck base and base. Gilt interior. Hallmark includes pattern no. 12493 (first produced in 1895) and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Excellent condition.

Antique Indian silver beast and man tea set. This set comprises teapot, creamer, and sugar.

Each: Globular body on stepped foot. Frieze with lions, boars, cobras, and elephants as well as native horsemen and hunters in a shadeless landscape of scattered trees and primitive buildings. Handles in form of elephant trunks as is teapot spout. Teapot has hinged cover with mahout finial.

Handle sides leaf-capped. Armorial with lion rampant and turreted fortress engraved in well. On foot underside are engraved 2 interlaced monograms and the phrase “L’amitie and L’estime”. Hallmarked.
