Sterling silver compote in Wedgwood pattern. Made by International in Meriden, Conn., ca 1920. Stepped and shallow bowl on tapering stem with base knop mounted to stepped foot. Neoclassical ornament, including paterae and amphorae, entwined with flowers and scrolls. An elegant tribute to the historic English porcelain firm. A great piece in this pattern.
