Tooled and chased flowers, leafy scrolls, diaper, and stippling. Asymmetrical scrolled cartouches (vacant). Gilt-washed interior. An exuberant horn of plenty piloted by a cast chubby cherub. Marked “Nisan 925 First Class”. Very good condition.

Chased and engraved ornament: Fluid leaf set in scrolling-leaf frame alternating with quatrefoil leaf over stippled lunettes. Rosette-inset guilloche rim. Engraved armorial with Latin motto “Patriis virtutibus” (that is, “By hereditary virtues”). A suitably aristocratic sentiment for such a sumptuous set.
